WOW! You guys have some really nice, ambitious goals. I'm gonna have to think about mine............Sometimes life just kicks you in the ass pretty hard. - We all know that. No excuses!
Ok, my usual yoga 2 times a week. Walks 2 times a week. Gonna try real hard to get some weight training in there twice a week. Haven't done that for a couple of years. So, watch out! I'm gonna buff up!

Bring on September and Football season!!! In the spirit of the season kicking off, I'm going to go back to a basic move that really kicks you in the tail some...old fashioned UP/DOWNS. The Up/Down is performed by jogging in place and then dropping into a push up only to pop right back up onto your feet and return to the jog. I'm going to knock out 50 Up/Downs a day and follow up with 100 crunches. Not only is this great for the total body, I'm looking forward to this starting the base of my core training for ski season.

I seem to have success with "short but sweet" sort of goals that are done often so ...

This month's 30 day challenge goal for me is to:
**Dance the choreography I created - do it twice every day and add in finger cymbals (which makes it harder). (Totaling of 6 minutes every day)

The Day1 + 30 Day Fitness Challenge was hatched from member activity in the Group "Making Exercise a Daily Habit" and is being brought to you to motivate you to set any fitness goal for the month of September. By choosing a goal, downloading the calendar, placing the calendar in a highly visible spot - you are set to cross off each day after you achieve your goal...the theory is that as you see momentum building you will be inspired to see your goal through to the end - Day1 by Day1
